Cacao is beautiful medicine for the heart.
Set an intention and take your time to sip this blissful potion. This cacao is wonderful with meditation, or connection time with a loved one. Perfect for valentine's coming up!
Organic cacao powder, fermented, and roasted, sourced from Ecuador, blended with carob powder, mushroom extracts, and spices for winter.
Enjoy on its own as a cup of cacao or add to your coffee for a cafe mocha, or bake with it!
Ingredients
We blend the Cacao* with Carob powder* to add a nutty flavour and more fibre, Burdock Root powder*, a blend of mushroom extracts: Cordyceps*, Lion's Mane*, Maitake*, Chaga*, and Reishi*, as well as ground cinnamon, and ashwagandha powder*. Reishi and Ashwagandha are wonderful for the immune system and soothing stress.
Directions
Blend 1 tbsp. cacao blend with 1 c. freshly boiled water and whisk
Serving suggestions
- Add a sweetener of your choice (the blend is unsweetened). I've tried honey, maple syrup, and brown sugar and they all offer different tasting notes to the blend.
- Add a fat such as ghee, butter, coconut oil, or tallow.
- Add a animal or plant milk if desired, and
- Sprinkle dried rose petals on top for an extra special touch to connect with your heart and or a loved one,
- Love dark chocolate and sea salt combo? Add a sprinkle. it's delicious!
Packaging
Packaged in compostable resealable pouches with paper labels.
How to prepare your package for compost: When you are finished with your woodland cacao pouch, peel off the label, and add it to your city compost bin.
Sizes:
- Trial size pouch is 80 grams or approx. 2 generous servings or 4 smaller servings.
- Regular pouch is approx. 200g or 5-10 servings.
