This product is minimalist, zero-waste, green, and plastic-free!
To make this super simple laundry powder, we have ground down our castille soap bars that don't make it to market (are soap ends, have flaws on them, old batches) and added various salts to it, such as epsom salt, washing soda, and baking soda to make a laundry powder. Super simple, but so effective at cleaning your clothes and not leaving you with a product or packaging that damages your health or the environment.
Conventional laundry detergents are one of the dirtiest products on the market with coal tar dyes, fragrances, SLS, phosphates, and sulfates to name a few. Ditch the dirty way of cleaning your clothes and instead try this super simple detergent. Oh, and say goodbye to static. Yep, you won't have to worry about static in your dryer anymore when you wash with this.
It's so clean that you can take it camping, use it on diapers, or even on your muddiest clothes or oil stains. We've tested it in old washing machines, new HE machines, hand-washing, and yes even travelling. It works great and a little goes a long way. We say 1-2 tbsp. per load. This 900g (upcycled 1L mason jar) contains approx. 25-40 loads/jar!
