Wow, I feel blessed to be recognized for my efforts in helping found and direct OFRE: Operation Fruit Rescue Edmonton. Locally grown food that builds community connections is very close to my heart. I strive to live and work in a way that contributes to a good, clean, and fair system for all.  A phrase I'm borrowing from Slow Food. My husband Mike Johnson came with me to the gala and we had a wonderful time last night. I feel honoured to be a part of the great list of winners including: Kevin Kossowan & Thomas Scott!
